मै User:Mahitgar हिंदी विक्शनरीका समन्वयक/प्रबंधक होना चाहता हूं । मै सर्व भारतीय भाषांओ कि विक्शनरी अधिकाधिक समृद्ध करने एवं मराठी भाषा विक्शनरीके अच्छे उपक्रम हिंदी खास करकर सहाय्यतायूक्त पन्ने हिंदी विक्शनरी मे लाना चाहता हूं.समय समयपर मै अपनी सूचनाए एवं योगदान करते रहूंगा मै मराठी भाषायी विक्शनरी मे प्रबंधक हूं और अपने अनुभव मराठी एवं हिंदी भाषायी विक्शनरी मे अर्पीत करनेकी मनषा रखता हूं .

इस संदर्भमे मेरेपास पर्याप्त पुस्तक स्वरूप संसाधन उपलब्ध है.

अनुनाद जी, विक्षनरी पर WiktBot और VibhijainBot के द्वारा भारत के शहरों और गाँवों के नाम से कई लेख बनाये गए थे। जिसमें लेखों की संख्या एक लाख से अधिक थी। ये सभी शब्द विक्षनरी में शब्द के रूप में गिने नहीं जाते हैं। इनमें कोई अर्थ भी नहीं है। इसे हटाने हेतु चर्चा के बाद "ேஸேலா஖ோலா, சம்பாவத தஹஸீல " जैसे शब्दों को हटाते समय श्रेणी:शहर नामक श्रेणी भी मिला जिसमें बहुत से एक शब्द वाले नाम हैं।

इसे हटाना चाहिए या नहीं इसलिए मैंने एक और चर्चा चौपाल में शुरू किया है। आप भी विक्षनरी में सक्रिय रहते हैं, इसलिए कृपया आप भी इसमें अपना मत दें। --Sfic (वार्ता) ०४:३७, २१ जून २०१६ (UTC)

Main namespace should be reserved for dictionary entries

Please note that these "शब्दकोश" pages you are creating do not belong in the main namespace (page titles without any "prefix:"), since that namespace is reserved for definitions of individual words/phrases, not lists of translations or synonyms, etc. Because this wiki lacks an "Appendix" namespace (or similar), I am moving the pages into the "विक्षनरी:" namespace. Non-linguistic terms in linguistics glossary

dcljr महोदय, हो सकता है कि इसमें कुछ शब्द भाषाविज्ञान से सीधे सम्बन्धित न हों, किन्तु जब आप 'अधिकांश' कहते हैं तो मुझे आपकी बात पर सन्देह हो रहा है। मुझे नहीं पता कि आप भाषाविज्ञान के बारे में कितना जानते हैं और आपने कितने शब्दों को ध्यानपूर्वक देखने के बाद अपनी बात रखी है। लेकिन यह भी बता दूँ कि इस शब्दावली का मूल स्रोत 'वैज्ञानिक तथा तकनीकी शब्दावली आयोग' है जिसने इसका निर्माण किया है। यह शब्दावली उन्होने 'भारतवाणी' पोर्टल पर रखने के लिए उपलब्ध करायी है। वे विभिन्न विषयों की शब्दावली बनाने के विशेषज्ञ हैं और इसके लिए अधिकृत भी हैं। यदि मेरे उत्तर से आप सन्तुष्ट नहीं हैं तो कृपया पहले इनमें से केवल १० शब्द बताइये जो भाषाविज्ञान से किसी भी तरह से सम्बन्धित नहीं हैं। --अनुनाद सिंह (वार्ता) १०:२१, २१ मार्च २०२० (UTC)

You are correct that "most" was an exaggeration. I skimmed the list and it seemed more like a general scientific glossary than a linguistic one. As for your "challenge", here are the first 10 words in the list that I find the most suspect (questionable):

1. Abdominal breathing – yes, you have to breathe to produce spoken words, but does that make this a lingustics term?
2. Abdominal Cavity – this is clearly just an anatomical term with no special lingustic meaning
3. A-belian Group – this doesn't appear to be a term in any field; "Abelian group" (with no hyphen) is term in mathematics; I can't imagine how it could apply to linguistics
4. Abnormal – an everyday English word (of course, technical terms like "Abnormal sibilant" are OK)
5. Abrupt – an everyday English word
6. Absolute – an everyday English word
7. Acceptability – an everyday English word
8. Acceptable – an everyday English word
9. Accessibility – an everyday English word
10. Accessory nerve – anatomy that doesn't even appear to have anything directly to do with language production

Of course, all these "everyday English words" can be used when discussing lingustics, but that can be said of almost any other scientific/academic field. What I am questioning is whether any of these have a technical meaning in linguistics separate from their everyday meaning. If not, I think they shouldn't be in the glossary.

Copy-and-paste moving of content violates licensing terms

The way you copied and pasted the contents of विक्षनरी:लेखा से सम्बन्धित वाक्यांश - 1 into विक्षनरी:अंग्रेजी-हिन्दी लेखा वाक्यांश कोश-०२ violates the terms of the licenses under which this wiki operates (both CC BY-SA 3.0 and GFDL), because the latter page is no longer connected to the edit history of its contents. In order to accomplish what you were trying to do, the former page should instead be moved to the new page name. This will have to be handled by an administrator, now that विक्षनरी:अंग्रेजी-हिन्दी लेखा वाक्यांश कोश-०२ already exists.
